An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a work-based intervention program designed to enhance the emotional, mental and general psychological well-being of all employees and includes services for immediate family members.
The aim is to provide preventive and proactive interventions for the early detection, identification and/or resolution of work and personal problems that may adversely affect performance and well-being. These problems and issues may include but are not limited to relationships, health, trauma, substance abuse, gambling and other addictions, financial problems, depression, anxiety disorders, psychiatric disorders, communication problems, legal issues, and coping with change.
Why is EAP important?
Australian studies have found that EAPs can return between 5 and 10 times the employer's investment, including savings in absenteeism, presenteeism and turnover, and improving engagement and morale.
Our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is designed to address issues that negatively impact your employees' health and well-being.
